Restricted on funded accounts only: no opening or closing trades within 5 minutes of high-impact releases. Profit made inside the window is deducted. Funded accounts only; all challenge phases allow news trading. Red-folder events of the issuing country's calendar plus FOMC speeches, applied to related pairs, indices, gold and BTC/ETH. Program notes. Daily loss is a fixed 4% of the initial balance, measured from the higher of balance or equity at 5 PM EST; the 8% max loss is static. On funded accounts only, Guardian Shield closes every open trade at a 2% floating loss: the first trigger cuts the profit split to 50% for good, the second breaches the account. Accounts bought from 20 August 2026 need 3 days of +0.5% to pass (5 before). Trades must be held at least 2 minutes; no opening or closing within 5 minutes of high-impact news on funded accounts.
