- News trading
- Allowed. News trading allowed on every account, evaluation and funded, AcidEasy and AcidInstant alike: the help centre says any event may be traded, NFP and rate decisions included; both program pages list 'News trading & weekend holding Allowed'. No window. Spreads widen around news, and the 0.5% max-risk-at-one-moment rule still applies. source
Program notes. One phase: 6% target, 4% max loss, no daily limit. To pass, your best day may be at most 40% of your total profit; over it nothing closes, you keep trading until it is back inside. Once funded there is no consistency rule. Funded: the same 4% trailing max loss, measured from the funded account's own starting balance. From the 2nd payout each payout adds 10% to the balance, up to 2x the size you passed on and never above $400,000, while the minimum balance stays where it was; after a scaling step our floor can sit higher than the firm's. No daily loss limit: the only loss limit is the minimum balance, checked on equity. It trails the highest your account reaches, open trades included, a fixed dollar amount below it, and stops at the starting balance (the firm's $10,000 example at 4%: floor $9,600, then $9,840 at a $10,250 high, then $10,000 from a $10,400 high on, for good). The firm counts a new high only when it holds for two readings in a row; we count every tick, so our floor can only sit higher. Max risk at one moment: all open positions together may not float more than 0.5% of your peak balance under water. The first breach of that rule, the 30-second minimum hold or same-symbol hedging closes your positions and pauses the account; the next breach of any of the three closes it. We do not check the hold time or hedging. No EAs or bots, no per-trade loss cap, no lot limit, no minimum days, no time limit. News trading, overnight and weekend holding allowed. An account with no trading for 30 days is closed. Trading day 00:00 to 00:00 server time (UTC+3). Free accounts (prizes, gifts, giveaways, the account for posting about the firm) run tighter limits, so set them by hand: AcidEasy free accounts 3% max loss, a 30% best-day cap and a 20-second hold; AcidInstant prize accounts 2% max loss and a 20-second hold. Payouts after 5 profitable days (each at least +0.2% of the starting balance with a win rate above 50% that day) with the account in net profit: 50% split on payouts 1 to 3, 70% from the 4th. From the 2nd payout the account also needs a win rate above 50%, an average win over twice the average loss, an average planned reward-to-risk above 1:1 (a trade without a stop-loss or take-profit counts as 0), and each payout must take more than a quarter of the profit. USDT payouts carry a 3% fee on accounts bought from 28 September 2026. Platforms: AcidX (the firm's own browser terminal) or TradeLocker (server ACID); MT5 announced, not open.
